Lauer Foundation Attends 83rd Annual Meeting of SVP

Bruce and Rene Lauer attended the annual meeting of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (SVP) in Cincinnati, Ohio. While we did not have a poster submission this time, we were pleased that our “Homestead at Garita Creek” team members from Appalachian State University were well represented with posters and our Virginia Tech member presented a talk on material from the Homestead at Garita Creek site. The Lauer Foundation sponsored a breakfast for the Homestead team. We enjoyed many presentations and posters. We also took the opportunity to network with researchers and develop collaborations on specific projects.
