The Foundation created a custom Paleontology Outreach Program for the Aurora Christian School in Aurora, Illinois. Due to Covid, The Foundation created a “walk thru time” for the second graders at the school. This consisted of examples of fossils from most time periods along with picture reconstructions. The display was set up in a room and teachers brought their students into the room to view the display. A touch table of fossils was included as well as give away fossils and minerals.
The display was at the school for two weeks which allowed the whole school access to the display. While not as interactive as we would like it was a good Covid solution.
