Researcher Martin Ebert from the Jura Museum Visits the Lauer Foundation

Martin Ebert, a researcher from the Jura Museum in Eichstätt, Germany, visited the Foundation to examine and study the fossil fish collection from the Solnhofen Germany area. Martin spent five days going thru the extensive collection and photographing all specimens and determining which specimens warrant further research. Martin also helped identify some unknown specimens. We took Martin to the Field Museum and then Martin went on to visit the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. Subsequent to his visit we already have a project with a Masters student, Ruben Winter from Munich on a specimen.
